Map Information New Playlist Add Marker About

SkyDog Maps was developed by Kevin Vertrees and Andrea Reynosa to expand upon the documentation and studies they were putting together through SkyDog Projects. In their efforts to understand their environments, both urban and rural, they realized that mapping technologies would provaide a useful context to their photographic documentation.

This map of New York City was developed during the Conflux 2009 Festival from 9/17/2009 to 9/20/2009. During the course of the event, several participants helped document and publish videos about the city using a variety of techniques and perspectives.

Navigating the various markers will allow you to explore individual items that were published during the study. The can be mashed up by clicking the "Add Video" link to a new playlist. This will then take you to the VideoSurface to resize, position and save for future reference.
